You need to be more specific about what policies you are talking about. Take a look at the url’s I’ve provided. They should give you a little insight.

You should probably clarify what exactly you mean when you say "policy". To most people within the security area, a policy means a written standard by which an organization relies upon to setup a security infrastructure, of which VPN is a part of. If you're talking VPN configuration, that's another issue.
