VPN recommendations and viability?

Hello and thanks in advance.

I have a small company with 7 sites. 6 sites has between 5 and 20 users. The 7th site has 25-30 and is our primary admin location.

All sites connect to the Internet via a Cable or DSL connection(good and cheap).

I would like to initiate a stable and persistant VPN linking all sites to the 1 Admin location, or better yet a mesh VPN where all sites are interlinked.

I'm considering the 1710 for each site and would like feedback.

Do I need to implement a hub and spoke configuration or is the mesh feasable?

Will the 1710 permit site-to-site and/or will I need a different unit in my admin location?

If so, what? PIX 515 Firewall? VPN 2600?, 3600?, VPN 3000?

I want to keep my current connections in all sites utilizing Broadband cable and dsl. The Admin site is using a Cable with 5Mb up and 10Mb down.

Thanks!

Yes, the 1700 is probably a good choice for your remote sites. You might want to terminate at a bigger router like a 3600 at the main office. These links might help
