Re: VPN Site-to-Site between PIX501 & PIX 506e

Hi Jay, sorry for not getting back sooner. I have actually been working on this.

Besides your link, there is this one for an ASA

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080450bb6.html

On both links, no where it says that I need to use the isakmp identity address command.

I had to call Cisco and the tech told me this. And even the links that he sent me later, none of them stated anything about this command.

Can you or anyone send me a link where all required commands will be listed???

thanks

Re: VPN Site-to-Site between PIX501 & PIX 506e

Hi

As per the original document posted:

"The PIX uses the IP address method by default

for the IKE identity in the IKE negotiations"

isakmp identity address

Hope this clears things or need further help.
