VPN Theorical aproche

I'm a student at my last year in college, and I'm looking for a real subject about VPNs, also I'm preparing a CCNA (CCNA 3)...so I'm looking for help about how I prepare my project about VPN

The suject will not only be based on Cisco equipement but in general cases, and standards.

Can someone help clearer my ideas to built on my project (it's based on two parts: therical and pratical parts)

This document provides a sample configuration for IPSec between the PIX Easy VPN Remote Hardware Client and the PIX Easy VPN Server. The Easy VPN Remote feature for the PIX was introduced in PIX version 6.2 and is also referred to as hardware client/EzVPN client. Cisco Easy VPN Server has been supported starting with PIX Software version 6.0.
