if I implement a point-to-point VPN between my East and West coast offices (both offices have multiple DS3's to Iinternet) uisng the VPN 3000 Concentrator. What kind of throughput (Kb/sec) should I expect.
Some of you may already have a similar setup, what kind of throughput are you getting ?
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/hb/vp3000/prodlit/vpn3k_ds.htm lists the encryption throughput for the various models. I assume each site shares their DS3's with regular Internet access and VPN's so actual available bandwidth at each site is less. Then, you are going accross the public Internet from coast to coast so there are a lot of variables out of your control there as well. I would guess you'll get throughput close to that of the encryption throughput listed depending on these variables.
We have configured the outside and inside Interface with official ipv6 adresses, set a default route on outside Interface to our router, we also have definied a rule , which also gets hits, to permit tcp from inside Interface to any6.
