I have a VPN tunnel set up at a remote satellite office which can reach systems in our HQ, however, we cannot talk to any systems at the remote office. The tunnel is configured using a dialer interface. i'm guessing the issue is that our inbound traffic is not considered interesting traffic. how can i set up the tunnel so we can communicate bi-directionally. please note that the dialer interface is there because its running pppoe.
If it was an issue about interesting traffic on the dialer interface then once they connected to you then your traffic should go through (interesting traffic is only important in determining what will activate the dialer interface - once the dialer is active than all traffic is transmitted, whether interesting or not). Am I correct in understanding your post that even after they initiate communication to you that you can not reach them?
