VPN using Cisco 1600

After searching the Cisco site for information on VPN using the 1600 Router, I'm still at a loss. One list of VPN supported routers includes the 1600, while another does not.

Does the 1600 support VPN services, particularly Client-to-Host services using the Cisco VPN client?

As there any special software or licensing required?

I checked the IOS software upgrade planner on Cisco’s site and it shows no IPSec images available for the 1600. The 1601-1604 and the 1601R-1605R has a 56-bit IPSec image available but not 3DES. Cisco’s VPN client software will be needed to tunnel from the client to the router. You’ll have to purchase the IPSec feature when you order your router. Hope this helps.
