VPN vs Frame Relay

In Site-to-Site connections, VPN and frame relay are similars for transport when i have to use VPN and FR?

I’m not quite sure I understand your question but the biggest advantage of doing a VPN over a public network lies in the cost savings over a dedicated connection like Frame Relay. If your question is will VPN save you a lot of money, the answer is Yes.

Thanks for the answer, but the main question is about the performance, and what kind of applications are better in VPN and what other in Frame Relay

If you are just using e-mail, web browsing and file transfer you may stick with a modem dial-up using VPN.

Frame Relay would be used if you are using interactive software, web browsing, or voice.

Mission critical data. Perhaps 24/7 availiblity.
