Do you need to buy an IOS upgrade to do a VPN from router to router or is this a standard feature on the 827? Also I want to VPN from 2 remote locations using 827s to a main location where another 827 is located? That would be two VPNs running into one 827 router. Is this possible?

Hi,
Yes, you have to buy the IOS upgrade if you want to use VPN on them. The standard IOS is IP Only.

You can check on the link for the features you are looking for to help in deciding what IOS you'll need.
Yes, it is possible to connect 2 to 1 using VPN. You should be able to find the sample config at the following link http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/707/index.shtml
hope this helps.
