As long as you have the correct IOS image the 1750 will support VPN. This can be accomplished by tunneling over the public network (Internet) or a private leased line. Leased lines normally don’t require encryption unless the data is very sensitive. If you use the Internet the router nodes that terminate the tunnels will have Internet routable addresses but the nodes behind them can be private. I hope this helps.
