VPN3000 iphone l2tp

hello,

i'm trying to establish a l2tp connection from an iphone to a VPN3000.

As soon as connected , the gateway disconnects me with following messages:

6560 11/23/2007 17:39:37.910 SEV=5 PPP/2 RPT=21 x.x.x.x

User [test]

disconnected. Cannot resolve an IP address for remote peer.

6561 11/23/2007 17:39:38.060 SEV=4 L2TP/47 RPT=27 x.x.x.x

Session closed on tunnel x.x.x.x:49236 (peer 266, local 41039, serial 1), r

eason: Call disconnected for administrative reasons

6563 11/23/2007 17:39:38.760 SEV=5 L2TP/25 RPT=25 x.x.x.x

Received ctrl message type 14 (Call-Disconnect-Notify) from x.x.x.x:49236 b

ut session not started

Any idea ?

The error "Cannot resolve an IP address for remote peer" occurs when there is no method selected for address assignment. Make sure that at least one method is selected. If address pool is selected, then make sure that there are free addresses in

the address pool. If you have free addresses in the address pool, then delete the address pool and re-enter the addresses again.
