Netscreen doesnt use their own VPN client. The third party clients dont offer a personal firewall like Ciscos unified client. Netscreen offers no client for Linux, Solaris, Macs or handhelds. No TCP NAT transparency (just UDP). No XAUTH, no WINS or DNS assignment support either. Using the VPN concentrator in parallel with a PIX or IOS firewall will give you better functionality, reliability and more control over your VPN connections. I think its worth taking a closer look at the two before you make a decision.
