VPN3002-to-PIX using network extension mode?

I have read conflicting documents on CCO regarding whether or not you can use network extension in a VPN3002 when connecting to PIX. Does this configuration work? Is it version dependent?

Yes it works. The very first version had a few issues, but it's worked for quite a while now.

Thanks! It now looks that it may be a while before I need to do this but now I at least know that it works.
