VPN5002 x Cisco IOS Router Connection Drops Down.

Hi.

I have a VPN5002 (SW version 5.2.19) and a IOS Router with IPSEC policy configured. I have a tunnel between them and, when I start the VPN tunnel, it works all right. But my IPSEC Tunnel drops down after 1:50 hours (aprox). All configuration was done like the VPN Cisco site.

Someone had the same problem ?

Check and make sure you are on the latest IOS available for the router. There were a lot of issues in the early code releases. Other than that, make sure you have enough bandwidth and a reliable link. Worse case, call Cisco.

There is an option for this problem. I configured the VPN 5002 (5.2.20) with only VPN DEFAULT PARTNER option and the other TUNNELS Partners was deleted from the configuration.

It works.
