There is a single document available on cisco mentioning VRRP configs. It uses physical ip of Master as the virtual group ip.The ping to the master IP fails as soon as it is removed from network, then how does VRRP function when the master ip is not transferred to the standby box.
If somebody can through some light on failover process here. Though the standby is taking the role of vrrp master but it is not taking the master's ip.
