Wan/Lan data converters

I need to convert an x21 data circuit presentation to an rj45 lan presentation. Is there such a converter and if so how reliable are they?

Re: Wan/Lan data converters

You can use a router to do this. A 2600 or even 2500 would work just fine.

Hope this helps.

I'd also look at products from RAD. We use a variety of their products throughout our network. You can take just about any interface and convert it into just about any other interface using their products. Our primary used is for DS-3 to fiber for hauling circuits across our warehouse. Check them out: http://www.rad.com

Is it just a case of using a serial wic card and connecting it to an x21/dte cable?
