webvpn and ISA server

I have a remote client using Internet Explorer to access our VPN3005, and from there to our Exchange 2000 server, via OWA.

The problem is that at the remote site (another company), they use ISA to proxy traffic to the internet, and as a result, the OWA window does not fully resolve.

I have been able to duplicate this problem using our own ISA server. Our internal network has default routes to the internet, so we do not need to use a proxy, and can webvpn out with no problem.

I have checked out the ISA server, but cannot find anything being stripped/filtered or otherwise relevant.

Any thoughts?

Re: webvpn and ISA server

You need to do the following to make the client behind the ISA proxy to work:

1) On the MS ISA server, you need to follow the steps shown in the document at http://www.isaserver.org/articles/IPSec_Passthrough.html to pass IPSec traffic.

2) The client needs to be configured for NAT-T and the Concentrator should be able to accept NAT-T connections.

Doing this should make you setup work just fine.
