WebVPN and Terminal Server Web 2003 (TSWeb)

We are running WebWPN on a VPN concentrator 3005 version 4.1.1 and we experience problems accessing a Terminal Server Web page. On the login page the connect button is greyed out and can not be clicked.

All other WebVPN functions are working great, including port-forwarding (RDP)to the same Terminal Server.

Any ideas to get the WebVPN work in combination with Terminal Server WEB???

You might run into problems with WebVPN + Web based Terminal services. The reason for this is that WebVPN does not work with ActiveX control.

Re: WebVPN and Terminal Server Web 2003 (TSWeb)

Hi,

I talked to a (CCIE security) representative of cisco and he founded the following:

CSCed23614 - Microsoft Terminal Server Web access fails.

"Active X with embedded URLs is not supported in this release. The

workaround for this issue is to use port forwarding."

He also told that this actualy an enhancement request, so hopefully it will be solved in the next software release...

Regards,

Brian
