webvpn port forwarding

I do not understand how this works. I set a port forwarding in the VPN3000 for port 23 and I started application access, but how do I then telnet to the remote machine???

Re: webvpn port forwarding

When you see the Application Access popup window, you will see a configured loopback address 172.0.0.x and a port number. You will have to telnet using the loopback and the port number. Let's say the port number is 36500

You can use Putty software or on a Windows Command Prompt, type:

telnet 172.0.0.1 35600

Let me know if it worked.

You are a peach. I would never have thought of that in a million years. Works just fine
