WebVPN

I configured a WebVPN on my 3005 concentrator and configured application support. My understanding is that when I configure the ports for the application the local machine's HOSTS file is supposed to be automatically edited to allow the application port redirection to happen. However, this never happens. Is my understanding incorrect? Am I missing something?
