What´s the part number of catalyst 6500 board you use together with IDSM?

I need to know part number and description of module you use with 6500 catalyst switches when you use IDSM in order to be able to configure VACL intrusion detection method? Is it PFC something?

With Cat OS the Supervisor part number needs to have one of the following in the name:

PFC or

PFC2 or

MSFC or

MSFC2

NOTE: The actual VACL Capture is implemented in the PFC hardware, but the MSFC can also be used because it contains the PFC hardware.

For Native IOS on the Supervisor you need a supervisor part number with MSFC2.
