My 501 will not boot properly, it appears to be stuck in an endless reboot unless I connect via console and interrupt the startup. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I can do about this issue? Attached is a capture of the PIX output.

You could attempt to reload the software on the pix. But i believe you will likly need to contact TAC concerning getting the unit replaced...

Robert,
You're right on. I reloaded the PIX OS and it did nothing. I even tried to completely erase the PIX using the erase.bin and loaded the newest OS and it did nothing. I am working on getting a replacement now.
Thanks for your reply...Mike

Use the Output Interpreter Tool.

Maybe the image/flash upgrade didn't went well:
"INFO: The serial number listed is for the flash memory BIOS. This number is different
from the serial number on the chassis. When you get a software upgrade, you will
need the serial number that appears in the show version command, not the chassis
number."

use monitor mode to install a new image - maybe your image is somehow corrupt.

Michael either your firewall flash is corrupt or you have a corrupted image installed.
My advice is 1 st if you have access to the image you got on the pix to try to install it via monitor mode follow the procedure detail in :http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a008008cd36.html#1020066
2 nd if this doesn't work you will have to open a TAC Case.
