When IDS V3.1.1 will be available for Download ??? (Security Bulletin)

customer received security Bulletin for IDS products ,and asked

for V3.1.1 available since April the 16th..

i didnt find this version on CCO yet, when can i get it ?

You’ll have to check with your Cisco rep at the tac for software release dates.

The minor security issue (zlib double-free bug) discussed in the bulletin you referenced can result in the SSH server shutting down, but nothing more. The fix to this problem has been ready for over a month, but because of export compliance regulations, we are only able to distribute it as part of a regular software release. We feel that it is safe to continue to use the existing SSH server in IDS 3.0 in the interim.

As for IDS 3.1, we are really excited about this release because it contains a number of features you have been requesting. However, our Quality Assurance group is taking extra care to assure that this is a top-notch product. IDS 3.1 is going to be posted any day now, and we think it is going to be worth the wait.

I will revise the advisory to include the correct date as soon as possible.
