When PFSS stop work , PIX will stop work too, is there some way to fix it?

PFSS run on a windows box, when it stop work, the PIX will not work, after restart the PFSS and PIX, it work now.

Restart PFSS is a pieces of cake, but restart PIX is not a good choice, so is there some nice way to restart PIX logging, and not need restart the whole PIX ? or someway to workaround this limit?

That is the nature of the tcp logging feature of the pix. If you cannot keep a logging server running, you have far bigger problems. If you use standards based udp syslog on the pix, it will not shutdown the pix if it cannot log (because after all, the pix has no way of knowing if the syslog messages were received at all). I don't know of PFSS can do standards based udp syslog

Thanks for your help, but is there some gracefull way to restart logging subsystem on PIX?

When PFSS down PIX stop to work, but when PFSS up, It still stop work, so it just have no idea of the new PFSS status.

Reload the whole PIX just for the logging server stop work is not a good idea.
