Hi - i am very keen to start using SSH as the main access method for all my routers (about 100 in my network). I am however very surprised and unhappy that this is not supported in the IP/IP+ IOS image, and that I have to spend A LOT more money to buy a 3DES image just for this function.
I have heard that SSH may be included in the basic IP image in the future. Can anyone at Cisco comment on this? As it currently stands, I can't afford to pay around $200K just to turn on SSH on all my routers.
