Hi!

I have a pix firewall and os version is 6.3.The pix inside has a web server. The web local ip address is 172.18.X.X,global ip address is 210.21.X.X.I have not DNS server.Internet user can access the web server through http://210.21.X.X.But inside user can not access the web server through http://210.21.X.X,only can access the web server through http://172.18.X.X.Now inside user want to access the web server through the global ip address.I has tried the "alias" command. But the command do not work.

Re: Who can help me?!

you need to use dns to work around this.

if you set up an internal dns server for your client pcs to use, you can set up a hostname that resolves to the internal ip address.

if you set up an outside dns server, you can use the alias command so that machines behind the pix get the internal ip for that hostname.
