Why VPN 3000 concentrator crashed every two month?

Our primary VPN crashed every two months. When the primary vpn crashed, the secondary vpn took over. The user was disconnected and need to reconnect again. The primary VPN need to reboot. Everything is fine after reboot. There was no crashedump file after reboot. We just want to know what cause this problem.

We have both http and https turn on. one of TAC engineer suggested us to turn off the http. But we thought the vpn were configured so that we had to be logged in via a vpn before we could http/https to them from outside. Can this cause the problem?

We use the the version 3.0.3

Re: Why VPN 3000 concentrator crashed every two month?

VPN 3000 normally creates a crashdump file on the concentrator. If it is not doing that, then you can log at the filterable event logs to see if there are any errors

I would also suggest that you upgrade the code on the concentrator to 3.5 code, as there was a major crash bug in 3.0(3)
