Will PIX support IPSec through NAT in future?

IPSec through NAT mode enables secure transmission between the client and the VPN device

through a router serving as a firewall, which may also be performing Network Address Translation (NAT)

or Port Address Translations (PAT).

At the moment ONLY VPN Concentrator (and VON Client 3.1) supports IPSec through NAT (UDP + ESP)

..... NOT PIX!

Will PIX in the next future (releaese6.2?)

support this feature?

Bye

Nat transparency won’t be in 6.2. My SE says it’s going to happen but they haven’t even committed a date to work on it yet. If it’s a requirement, get a concentrator.
