Win2K password updates through a VPN 3030

I've got a Win2K domain policy that requires periodic password changes. Users who connect through the concentrator are only notified when they open up Outlook since they don't start the client software until they login. However, once they change their password, it looks like they can't use either their previous password or the one to which it has just been changed to login locally or access any domain resources once connected through the VPN. This is due to the fact that they logged on with cached information from what I understand. Is there any way to make password changes a bit more seemless?

Hi,

So far the best way to do this is using Cisco ACS 3.0 above version's "NT password expiration" feature. That might make the password changes a bit more seemless.
