Can anyone give me the TCPIP port numbers windows 2000 uses to authenticate to the domain controller? We have opened DNS, DOMAIN, SSL and NETBIOS-NS and NETBIOS-DGM. We cannot get the Win2k web servers to authenticate between the DMX and the Inside interface unless I open everything.
Thanks in advanced..

TCP or UDP port 135 for RPC
UDP port 137 for NetBIOS Name Service
UDP port 138 for NetBIOS datagram (Browsing)
TCP port 139 for NetBIOS session (NET USE, etc.)
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply so quickly. Is this in addition to DOMAIN?

I don't believe you need UDP/TCP 53 open unless you're using Active Directory. Your firewall log should show what's being denied.
