Windows sockets failed to initialize using VPN client v3.5.2 on a W2k Pro s

When I start the VPN dialer I get a message stating that "windows sockets failed to initialize". Also, when the system starts the following message appears before I can log in: "Cannot determine network connection status".

I have unchecked the "register this connections address" option in DNS section of the TCP/IP properties.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Find out why this client is not able to allocate UDP500 for IKE.

It could be another vpn client causing it.
