WinVNC access thru pix 520

The following is part of my configuration:

access-list 101 permit tcp any host xxx.xx.xxx.36 eq 5900

global (outside) 1 xxx.xx.xxx.37-xxx.xx.xxx.38

static (inside,outside) tcp xxx.xx.xxx.36 5900 192.168.100.253 5900 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0

access-group 101 in interface outside

I´m trying to configure my PIX to allow access to a computer on the inside through WinVNC (which uses if I´m not mistaken uses port 5900).

When I try WinVNC with the following parameter xxx.xx.xxx.36:5900 it does not work.

Can anyone please help?

Regards

Fernando

Go here: http://www.realvnc.com/faq.html

scroll down to:

How do I use VNC through my firewall?

You may need to be more specific in your ACL.

also use "debug icmp trace" on the PIX to see where the packet is going - making sure its reaching the vnc server.
