Wired works but wireless doesn't. Why?

We've been struggling for several weeks now getting a remove client to connect to a VPN. We've purchased and installed a new wireless router (D-Link WBR-2310) running under Win XP MCE sp 2 on a Dell Inspiron E1750. When the Dell is attached via cable to the router, we can remotely access the network, but we cannot using Wi-Fi. All firewall and security on the wireless router have been disabled during this process. Any thoughts? Thank you for your assistance.

Most likely The WiFi adapter still has a default MTU confiured. Run the SetMTU.exe to reduce the MTU size and reboot. Normaly and MTU size of 1300 will work. Some ISP's may require a lower setting.

Had the same issue on my Dell. MTU wasn't the issue for me. What worked was disabling VLAN Priority in the wireless nic properties.
