Is it possible the second

Is it possible the second stack member has a version mismatch - i.e. non-K9 and thus no crypto support (required for ssh)?

Thank you very much.  I will contact the site and get console access connected.

A show version will display

A show version will display the current IOS flavors on all the switches in the stack.

I too am having this issue though. I'm thinking it's because transport output ssh telnet needs to be enabled. But I don't want to let the switches have telnet out capabilities.

Is there a way to get around this? Maybe force the switches to session between each other via ssh instead of telnet?
