100msec link flaps detected in 10sec keep alive setting environment
I have got 2 sites connected via a fiber protected link. the link is terminating on GigEthernet interfaces, with default keep alive settings of 10sec. When switching the transimmsion link form Worker to protection, Iam experienceing "switch-hits" of a bout 100ms, which are being detected bt the router interfaces with a "Detected RX Link Status Down" error on the router interfaces at both ends of the link. My querry is, are the router interfaces supposed to detect these switch-hits of abut 100ms, since the values are very low compared to the 10sec keep alive setting? Or are there other parameters i need to set on the interface so that it does not detect the hits?
