7600 PPPoE on range C-Tags

Hi All,

I am trying to do PPPoE on a range of C-Tag (QinQ inner vlans) on 7606  with ES+ card. This is quite easy on the 7200/7300 series routers, as  such:

interface GigabitEthernet0/3.2528

  encapsulation dot1Q 2528 second-dot1q 100-200

  pppoe enable group TEST

This seems to be impossible on the 7600. It doesn't take vlan range on the second-dot1q.

TEST-7606(config)#int GigabitEthernet3/1.10

TEST-7606(config-subif)#encapsulation dot1Q 10 second-dot1q ?

<1-4095>  Second (inner) 802.1Q VLAN ID

I also tried by using the EVC, PPPoE is not available under the EVC configuration mode.

TEST-7606(config-if)#service instance 10 ethernet

TEST-7606(config-if-srv)#ppp?

% Unrecognized command

TEST-7606(config-if-srv)#ppp

I am running 122-33.SRE6 advanced IP IOS.

Can anyone please give some advices?

Any help would be appreciated

Regards,

Jing

Hi Jing, I have the same problem.

Was you able to find a way to run pppoe for inner vlans in a service instance?

Regards.
