Hi everybody
Let say we have two sites and we want to use ipVPN to connect them.
site1-ce---pe1---p----pe2---ce--site2
We are going to configure routing instances on pe1 and pe2. Do these instances should have same name on each p.e? i.e can we have routing instance VPN1 on pe1 and routing instance VPN2 on pe2 ?
Thanks and have a great day.

Hi Sarah,
The VRF name is locally significant. Only the route-target exported on one side and imported on the other will dictate connectivity.

Thanks Harold
Vrf name is locally significant. Is it cisco specific? Or it is true for other vendors.
