I have been experiencing issues on a multicasting VPN that we have running across the ASR 9010 platform. When we stream video using RTP the video streams can be received anywhere along the Metro network which runs across 4 ASR 9010 nodes. When we switch to using RTSP we cannot get video across the network however the video can only be viewed on the local ASR node to which the site terminates on. We are finding this very strange as we compared the mrib routes when we executed RTP and RTSP and they are exactly the same. With a wireshark on the other end we are receiving the H.264 codec. I dont believe that it could be RPF issues as we have no problem when we use RTP as the signalling.
