Post the entire bootup process.  I would like to see WHY the router goes into ROMmon.

Maybe the IOS is corrupt.  Maybe you've got a wrong boot variable statement.  Maybe you've got a faulty hardware.

Hi,

Can you use the command:

Router#remote command show bootvar

This will tell you what is the boot variable on the SP, Sometimes it does happen that your boot variable is different on RP and SP and upon reload the switch ends up in the Boot Loader prompt.

If this show anything apart from 0x2102, go to the global config change the variable to 0x2102 and again verify if it has been changed to 0x2102 on the SP. And then you will have to reload as this requires a reload to get changed on the SP.

Hope it Helps.

Regards,
