Can someone please advise what could be the best possible tests to do packet loss test -end to end in general scenario where we have WAN Devices connected serially and running frame.

Like there is no other hope in between an can be just two 1841 s connected .

Hi Tarun,

Send some pings with massive and incrementing packet sizes. Try with do not fragment bit set and see if the success rate is 100%

ping repeat 10000 size <100-1500> df-bit

You can start with  size 100 and then slowly increase it to 1500. Alternatively you can use something called a ping sweep which is an extended ping. You can see the link below for more info. Let me know if you want more info
