SCE 8000 Bandwidth Control

We are planning to use the SCE to control/shape the bandwidth of total pipe/link, without considering subscribers package. Totaly shape the link or interface.

Eg.

10G pipe

- 3G/s for P2P and UDP.

- 7G/s for the rest of traffic.

Can it be done ?

What happen if the P2P and UDP traffic have reach 3G/s. Are the traffic get queue or discard.

Hi Fazli,

Yup, It could be done using Global Bandwidth Controller for donwstream and upstrean; SCE is a traffic policing solution thus will discard the traffic when reaching the configured peak rate.
