1100 + 12.3(4)JA1 + wds(wlsm)

After upgrading to 12.3(4)JA1 AP is unable to register with WDS.

Downgrade back to 12.3(2) solves the problem.

Did anybody experience this problem?

You are most likely experiencing this bug:

12.3(4)JA WDS does not authenticate WLSE due to incomplete arp entry

Workaround(s):

1) Turn on proxy arp (ip proxy-arp) on the router that is the first hop from the AP-WDS to the WLSE OR

2) If proxy arp cannot be enabled for some reason, then create a static arp entry on the AP.

The bug was seen with 2.11 and 12.3(4)JA but we have seen it with other versions as well.

I don't use a AP as WDS. I use WLSM.

Unfortunaly I can't verify arp entries at the moment, but I might do this later and post results, if somebody interested.
