I have an 1130 AP setup as a root AP and I have tried to add a second AP, a Cisco 1100 AP, to serve as a repeater, but every time I configure the 1100 and switch it over to a repeater mode the same thing happens: The signal strength on the client jumps up to excellent, when the weaker signal is amplified but the network connection is lost instantly since the IP address, which is dynamically assigned through a DHCP server, is lost. For some reason I cannot get the repeater to relay the IP address to the client!?
