2700 location appliance tracked elements

I have a 2700 series location appliance running version 2.1.42.0, I know it's an older version but my controllers and WCS need upgraded as well. Putting that aside, I recevied an error in WCS that I have reached the max of 2500 tracked elements. Does anyone know how to reset the tracked elements back to 0 so the device can start over again? I'm not sure how it got to that limit as I only have about 150 Ap's and roughtly 1500 clients. thanks.

I am not sure how to clear it out without clearing out the whole db, but you can shorten the retention time under the location settings and that will help

at this point, I'm thinking clearing the whole db may be the way to go and let it start over. Can the db be cleared without clearing the entire appliance config?
