340 Bridge upgrade

I have tried to upgrade the firmware on a 340 bridge, the FTP transfer was ok bu then the unit crashed when it tried to uncompress the image. The unit is now unresponsive, it has a solid red LED and I cannot access the console port. Is this unit now ready for the trash or is there any way of rescuing it?

Looks like something went wrong during upgrade. There is no way now to recover it. Do you have a contract against it? If you have it, you can open a tac case using that contrat number.

I experienced the same issue with a 340 bridge. Is there a remedy for failed flash attempts at this time?
