350 Series Client card associates but unassigned IP Address

I have loaded a 350 Series Client card into a HP Vectra PC. I previously had Version 4.13 software loaded on the PC with the old firmward for the Wireless Card.

I updated the software on the PC to Version 5.05 as well as the firmware on the card. The PC is able to associate to the Access Point BUT I am seeing an "UNASSIGNED" message on the Access Point under the associations tab.

Did I get myself into a pickle by undating the software version from V4.13 to V5.05? Or could it be the firmware version that is causing this not to work? I need help.

Did you also update the NDIS driver ?

There are 3 parts of the software and ALL 3 should be of the same age/release

Firmware NDIS and ACU.

I recommend that you download the latest bundle and update all 3 parts of the software, if you still have this issethen it sounds like a WEP key mismatch, reconfigure both the AP and the client cards WEP key making sure you use the same key entry method ie. HEX
