4402 w/1142 AP on 3Com Switches

Hi,

I have a cusomter wanting to buy the 4402 controller (16AP) w/1142 LWAAP.

However, the customer has 3COM 4400 series gigabit (802.3af) lan switches.

Will I have any issues to integrate? I've only integrated into Cisco switches in the past.

I am looking to use 1 management vlan and one data SSID.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

As long as the switches can perform the following:

VLAN Trunking

Multiple VLAN (at least 3 VLANS)

(Optional) Link Aggregation or LAG

Thank you.

Can someone let me know if this switch will do the job:

I have tried calling 3Com support. And it appears there is only one girl doing pre-sales for all of 3com and she doesnt seem to know anything about LAN switches??!! go figure.

I don't see anything about doing Dot1Q trunking here and I am not confident that it couldn't. Talk to your authorized 3Com dealer just to be sure.
