I would like to ask what is the number of devices that an aironet can support, especially for 802.11b, either theoretical limitation or/and practical..

Thanx alot!

The practical limit is based on the type of traffic but the general rule is 20-25, for laptop/pda and 7-8 for 802.11 phones per AP

The real limit is much higher at 2047 which you will never acheive and still maintain and sort of decent data throughput
