802.11n MIMO Technology - Thruput and Range

Hi All,

Reading this on wikipedia:

802.11n builds upon previous 802.11 standards by adding MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output). MIMO uses multiple transmitter and receiver antennas to allow for increased data throughput through spatial multiplexing and increased range by exploiting the spatial diversity, perhaps through coding schemes like Alamouti coding.

Can anyone comment on Thruput and Range tests that have been performed?

Many thx indeed,

Ken

Take a look at this page:

Cisco has a lot of great white papers listed at the bottom for your reading enjoyment. There are several case studies posted as well. I think you'll find more than you ever wanted to know about 802.11n.
