About centralization and remote AP

Hello,

We have a 5508 wireless controler, 1141 LAP and an Ucopia on the same building.

I wish to add 1141 LAP on an agency. There are no link between the two site, and the agency have a classic internet access.

Have I to use a security appliance to etablish a VPN between central building and the agency, or the 1141 LAP can etablish automatically a tunnel with the wireless controler ? without any VPN from a router or security appliance ?

Sounds like you need to look into OfficeExtend.  You're also in luck.  If you upgrade your 5508 firmware to the latest 7.X, OfficeExtend is free.
